I am 23 and I’ve only read a little over 120 books and I’ve been reading since I was 6. I reason I’ve read only a few books is that I was only allowed to buy 4 or 5 books per year due to financial restraints. But I was very happy with that 4 or 5 books my parents bought me every year. Just going to a bookstore alone made me happy. How many books have you read till now? And also mention just one of your favorite books. Only one.

You need the library. I read 30-50/year and I pay for none of them.
Hundreds but I’m significantly older. I suggest you keep track with an app or you will forget what books you read and how much you liked them. And get a kindle and make a wishlist. I check my wishlist everyday and buy my books on sale ($1 to $5 or so). Or just borrow from the library on a kindle or kobo.
I loved Born a Crime by Trevor Noah (memoir) and suggest it to everyone who wants to get back into reading or never read a memoir before.
Second the library suggestion, or if there is a bigger town nearby their library might be better?
I’m in the UK so we have counties and you join the library for the county but can get books out of all of them so if my local library doesn’t have a book but another one in my county does then they can order it for me to collect from my local library.
Also if you have a kindle and could afford kindle unlimited that could up your book reading? Or sign up for bookbubs and you get emails when there are deals on kindle books (I think you can select another type of e-reader). I get a lot of books for 99p through there.
