Just finished Penance by Eliza Clark and also loved Boy Parts by her. Both have younger female main characters (adolescent-late twenties) who are traumatised and do some pretty nasty things. I don’t, of course, condone that behaviour, but I would really love to read more fiction where traumatised women do horrid things. Bonus points if she stays evil to the end.
