For context: I’m a Millennial caregiver for two family members in their 80s. More and more younger people are taking on caregiving roles. It’s not just the Baby Boomers.
What I’m looking for: I stumbled over “THE MOSTLY TRUE STORY OF TANNER & LOUISE” by Colleen Oakley and I was instantly enthralled and smitten with the interactions and observations in the book. It’s the story of a 20-something finding herself as a live-in caretaker to an 80-something and then there’s a definite Thelma & Louise storyline. It was such fun. But. The dynamic of the generations crossing paths and learning how to live together and relate to one another is what I need more of in my life.
