Suggest a short read

Hello Everyone!! Hope you all having a lovely day. I am new to reading books. I decided to start off with romance. The only romance book I ever read was The Fault in our Stars. Though it was sad, I really liked it. I would prefer a feel good book though with a happy ending. 250-300 pages, as I don’t want to start with longer ones, solo read would be nice so I no longer needed to read the prequel to understand it. I would like the romance to be between a male and female characters, I don’t mind either of them being a main character. I am okay with any level of smut. Other kinds like monster, vampires etc are fine as long as one is rich in vitamin D and the other rich in vitamin V. Thanks in Advance.
