Personal favorite genres/plot types are dystopia, post apocalypse, horror, fantasy, paranormal/supernatural, and mystery.
Not super into SciFi
I do still have a bit of a lean towards YA fiction. I can take or leave romance and smut. My son is getting older and into more independent play I have more time off and am looking to get back into reading more!

Have you read [Unwind](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/13643974-53b8-40c5-82f9-553b746d3669) by Neal Shusterman?
Also, if you’re open to middle grade fantasy, my favorite series is [Nevermoor](https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/6a6d5ca1-b2f5-47be-828c-018144d3bbc7) by Jessica Townsend!
I loved Station Eleven and post apocalyptic stuff normally isn’t my choice.
The Power – Naomi Alderman
Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.
{{Pines by Blake Crouch}}
The road – cormac mccarthy
You might really enjoy the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. The first book is just kind of “fine” to my mind but the rest of the series slaps. It’s set in a post-magical-apocalypse Atlanta, and the main character is a mercenary who deals with various supernatural crimes and mysteries around the city.
The turn of the key by Ruth Ware.
Wayward pines trilogy
Edge of Collapse by Kyla Stone — An EMP takes out all the power, but our main character is set free. She had been imprisoned by a psychopath for years, but the power failure let her out of her cage. Now she needs to walk through a winter Michigan while the psycho is hunting for her
