Hello, bookworms!
Here with the question above: what’s that famous classic you were planning to read, but when you looked up reviews and modern reviews, they were so bad that you decided it wasn’t worth it?
For me that would be *Moby Dick*: everyone and their grandmother has seen parodies in series and movies about an old man obsessed with catching a giant white whale, right? I was curious about that book, but then I discovered that it was over 500 pages long and many modern reviews pointed out that the novel was pure filler, and I decided to stick with just the parodies, which summed up the only interesting thing about the novel.
I’m waiting for your answers!

I started reading Moby Dick on a whim a few days ago, I’ve had a copy sitting on my shelf for the very reasons you’ve been putting it off, but I’m 3 short chapters in and it’s full of ridiculous nautical puns and jokes, even a fart joke.
