I know, I know, that is a very broad range of topics. I guess the ADHD thing totally makes sense here. I have read A LOT of books on all of these topics but I will not list them as I often do re-read books. For some context I am in the later part of my thirties and have diagnoses ADHD, depression, anxiety, OCD, and possible borderline. Yes, I see a psychiatrist, take medication, and go to therapy… but I am looking for a new therapist at the moment. I know that those would be recommended which is why I want to make a point to mention it. Those are all important but sometimes extra reminders and insight can help. I know most self help books may not make a big difference, as it’s often been the case for me. I know one can get stuck in a spiral of just reading these kinds of books. Anyway I am self employed and run my own business for the past 7 years. I feel like I am in a rut and get easily distracted and have trouble finding a system to keep me disciplined. I have an addictive personality and constantlty seek the quickest source of dopamine, thus I need help with discipline. With my ADHD I have so much trouble sticking to a system and building new habits. I’ve also been in a creative rut and get stuck on indecisiveness and overthinking rather than just doing. I would say something else I struggle with is living in the moment and being present. I’ve had a lot of brain fog lately and just kind of feel lost. I’ve probably read all of the most popular books on these subjects but it may have been a while and I am stuck on indecision on what to read or listen to next!

    1. As a fellow ADHD-er I highly recommend “How to Keep House while Drowning” by KC Davis. Super short easy read written with ND people in mind. I’ve found it really helpful!
