I see now adays there are some great portrayals of trans characters, and some not so great for ESG rating boosts, as media is always evolving to explore various new forms of storytelling.
Any good books or movies that yall can recommend with trans characters?
Doesn’t even need to be their main personality- I prefer a character who has that nuance of an identity outside of just being ‘that trans person’ but does have to deal with that struggle.

I’m not looking for a self help book.
I’m curious to see good portrayals of a trans person without it being such a direct, ignorant, portrayal.
