I mostly enjoy reading about theology and world religions. But I’m trying to read more fiction. I read Laurus, and it was absolutely incredible, I’m struggling to find another book with a similar feel.
I love books with beautiful poetic writing sprinkled throughout, and books that make you think. I am primarly looking for fiction.
books I’ve enjoyed recently:
\- Laurus
\- The Tao of Pooh
\- the young man, the gurus, and elder paisos
\- Mice and men
\- Beginning to Pray
\- Various theology books, especially ones focusing on the spiritual world.

The Crusades Trilogy, by Jan Guillou? A historical fiction book with a big focus on Christianity and the role that it played in the development of Scandinavia. Beautifully written and a great story
Matrix by Lauren Groff is a fictionalized biography of Marie de France, who was a nun and a prioress, the research was impeccable and it’s a beautifully told spinning the tale of a remarkable woman of the Middle Ages.
The Name of The Rose
