I’d really like to read a novel about day to day life in medieval England and/or Europe. Bonus points if it’s set during the bubonic plague. I want gritty and as realistic and accurate as possible. Fantasy novels are still fun for me, but I’d really like something more realistic. Im in the middle of “The Doomsday Book” and am enjoying the parts set in the past, but the passages set in the present/future are a slog.
