I’ve ordered the first of his Vorrh trilogy. I loved the intermingling of horror and fantasy with a touch of fabalism. His writing is fantastic ! Anything of the same vein would be appreciated. I lean more towards the horror/weird fiction aspect so that would be a bonus.
Not into romance or YA. Also not really much into short stories.
Already finished about 90% of lovecrafts work. Well versed in Clark Ashton Smith and William Hope Hodgson. Read between two fires and eagerly anticipating it’s sequel. Loved the Southern Reach trilogy. Broms Lost Gods. I don’t like American Gods or Parenessi.

If you don’t mind a novella, *Hellmouth* by Giles Christian scratches a similar itch.
*His Black Tongue* by Mitchell Lüthi is a compilation of short stories with a similar vibe.
*The Sad Tale of the Brothers Grossbart* by Jesse Bullington–but have a look at content warnings on this one. Bad people do all kinds of horrific things in this one and it is not gentle with the reader.
