Just finished The Sirens of Titan bu Vonnegut, which whilst I mostly really enjoyed, I got bothered by the sexual assault of Bea earlier on.
It then continues in how Rumfoord describes Beatrice later in the book as not wanting to he touched (and this is deemed comparable to Malachis own faults). Beatrice later says that it was good to be used towards the end.
I won’t like its left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. But I’m wondering if I’ve missed something. I get that neither character do not come across as that likeable but I just wondered if it really added much to the book.
