Looking for fiction books that changed or widened your understanding of others’ life experiences. Preferably for a different culture or upbringing. I’ll give some examples that I loved that truly changed me and made me a more compassionate/ understanding person:
* A Thousand Splendid Suns
* The Plum Tree
* Exit West
* The Association of Small Bombs
* Push
* First They Killed My Father
I typically enjoy fiction (modern classic)/ historical fiction, but I’m open to any suggestions you think fit the bill!
