Hey all, I’m in a small book club and I have finished reading our last selection. Others are still reading so I need something fairly quick that will be a good “filler” to read for a week or two. I thought it was going to be The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a classic I hadn’t yet read, but I finished that in a day. And loved it by the way. I’m looking for something that will be easy to read in smaller chunks, an hour here and there, and not so epic that it will take a long time to get through and process. Simple but powerful. That’s how I felt about The Little Prince. Books I’ve enjoyed recently for reference:
\- The Death of Ivan Ilyich by Leo Tolstoy
\- The Shipping News by Annie Proulx
\- The Book Thief by Marcus Zusak
\- Lost Nation by Jeffrey Lent
\- Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt
\- The Electric Kingdom by David Arnold
\- The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
Thanks everyone! Read on!
