What are your favorite nonfiction books that are either aimed at early teen readers, or not so complicated that it’ll mostly go over their heads?

With a lot of nonfiction being written by experts in their field, the language used and ideas presented are often quite advanced. My child loves nonfiction but it’s often hard finding books that don’t frustrate him by him having to look up every third word. Learning new words is obviously important, but it can get frustrating when it’s at such a high level that the messages are diluted by it.

I recently read and loved Entangled Life and Why We Sleep, and will probably have him try these. I’m hoping you lovely people will have some amazing options for him
