Hi, my bf would like to start a little book club just the two of us and I’d like to get some suggestions on books we can read that kind of match the taste of both or meet in between. For more context that could help, he’s an avid reader and has read almost everything, but he will read again if it’s good. He’s into hard Scify and has read most of Asimov, Heinlein, and Arthur Clarke, he also likes medieval politics and fantasy, he’s gone through Game of Thrones, and Lord of the Rings, but only likes fantasy that’s heavy on the politics or social aspects, oh and loves post-apocalyptic and horror stuff too, like Dracula and 1984 or a brave new world. I on the other hand am kind of starting on reading, so far I’ve gotten just some Young adult fantasies, like Harry Potter and Game of Thrones, and a couple of short stories. Is there anything in between we can read that’s not already mentioned? Can be anything of the genres of Science Fiction, Political fiction, Horror, Post-apocalyptic, Police/Detective. I’m open to anything if that sort that kind of aligns with his already-read library since mine is short and I’d like to explore more books. Thanks!
