I’m trying to get into cyberpunk as a genre a bit more. I enjoy military fiction so I figured something in that genre would be good way to dip my toe in so I am primarily looking for books that fit that category. However, I will take some general cyberpunk themed books.
The most experience with cyberpunk is *Ready Player One* and *Burn-in*. As much as I enjoyed RPO, I would like to focus on stories that spend more time in realspace instead of cyberspace.

Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan
William Gibson is said to have invented cyberpunk so I would suggest his first three books. As I remember they were great and they have stories that not only is set “online”.
