I like to think about things politically and theoretically, and so, I’d like a book that acknowledges the social utility of anger, but also encourages against and defines its inappropriate usage. I don’t want a book that argues against any and all expressions of anger and demonized those who feel it.
I spoke with aggression in what I thought to be in defense of queer people in a recent discussion and I don’t feel good about it.
I like bell hooks and love her approachable but grounded in social theory writings, and so something like that would be preferred.
Thanks!

Don’t sweat the small stuff, it’s all small stuff – Richard Carlson
I know Brene Brown tackles anger a bit in Atlas of the Heart.
