Things I like:
* terror books, but no ghosts. Ghosts/spirits make me piss my pants. Any other creature is okay. I like it best when they make you think about them for a long time, not just jumpscares (for example, my least favorite SK book is IT, my favorites are The long walk, Love and Children of the Corn).
* Fake “documentary” books, like FantasticLand or I Have no Mouth But I Must Scream, preferably with dystopic vibes. I dig the stuff.
* Comedy is OK, although I find it hard to pick one I actually like. I hate second-hand embarrassment, I hate miscommunication conflict and I also hate scatological humor. I have enjoyed Maryan Keyes books tho.
