***POSSIBLE INHERITANCE SERIES SPOILERS!!!***
I have been looking for a good book recently, but the niche I am looking for is very specific and I can’t find anything that meets the criteria.
I really want to find a book where a male MC is fighting against incredible odds to save those he loves.
My favorite example (and the closest I can think of) is in the second and third books of the Inheritance Series, where Roran fights to protect his village, then takes leadership and moves them to the varden across enemy territory, then finds rank in the varden and leads a battalion of his villagers and Urgles, then saves his wife from the hands of the Razak, all of this with only some carpenters hammers, to protect his wife.
As a father and a husband I find stories like this exhilarating, and relatively relatable. (Gives me those butterfly’s in my stomach).
Any suggestions would be immensely helpful!!!
