I love biological anthropology. Anything regarding subjects like how our genetic evolution impacts our cultural development, how human brains developed to eventually produce art and complex tools, the genetic links between species and what that means for the future of the planet, how the miniaturization of species . Topics along those lines. I’ve read *Humanimals* and *A Brief History of Everyone Whose Ever Lived* by Adam Rutherford and devoured them.
All I ask is no hefty educational textbooks, too expensive and dense for recreational reading.
