One of the most soul crushing books I have ever come across. It’s beautiful and heart breaking at the same time.I wonder how it could be both. I cannot possibly compile my feelings after reading this. The Protagonist feels like Me in a russian coat and hat that unduly feels or thinks the same way I do. Dostoevsky have written his heart out and expose us to the profound extent of vulnerabilities one possess. The single greatest closing line in the history of literature.
“My God, a moment of bliss. Why, isn’t that enough for a whole lifetime?”
