For years I’ve been looking for “modern Lovecraft”-ish. The cosmic horror, the long lost history but without the massive racism, classism, 1920s view of women etc…I never found any good ones, until a local bookstore recommended Library at Mount Char by Scott Hawkins.
Oh gods below it’s exactly what I’ve been searching for. The are two serious problems with the book
1. It’s way too short.
2. There’s no sequel.
Does anyone know of more books in the same style? I need more.
