I have two free audible credits I need to use so I can re-cancel my subscription. I am trying to find books that I cannot get at my small, rural library.
On my library saves list, I have: the rest of the Throne of Glass series, all of Leigh Bardugo’s books (I LOVED Six of Crows), Red Rising, Dark Matter, Muse of Nightmares, Scythe, The Serpent and the Wings of Night, Terry Pratchett’s The Long Earth, and Nora Robert’s Year One.
Some of my other favorite authors include Philip Pulman, Cornelia Funke (I hear there’s a new book in the Inkheart series with the English translation arriving in the fall, so I’m super excited about that!), GRRM, and Agatha Christie.
I’m not particularly interest in ACOTAR or Fourth Wing, but might get around to those some day.
Right now, I’m looking at the dramatized adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Sandman and the first Mistborn Book (the library has two other Sanderson Mistborn books, but not the introduction to the world). My library has Raising Steam, but no other Discworld novels.
Are there any other audiobooks that I should consider adding to my list? A good story plus a good narrator.
