Books that blew your mind and/or taught you something?
Looking to read 25 books this year. I’ve finished 7 so far and looking for suggestions! It can be any genre, ideally something on the shorter side, maybe 200-300 pages?
this is a little over 300 pages but i still wanted to recommend it because it was so so so so good. this book is non-fiction but reads like a fiction book because the stuff in it is so fucking crazy.
i NEVER EVER knew just how important fungi is to our everyday life. it’s truly bonkers. i blew through this in one sitting. i also bought the audiobook (narrated by the author) and it’s also fantastic, but his voice is so soft and soothing it makes me fall asleep.
if you want to read a truly mind-blowing book, you have to check this out!
