Hi y’all, I am looking for books that have also been recorded into audiobooks. (Usually needs to be kinda popular, in order for the library to have audio version.)
I am dyslexic, and learning to enjoy reading. My reading comprehension has been extremely low, my whole life, because I always have to focus on the letters so much to read the word.
Im in my 40’s and finally starting to correct/learn techniques to live with dyslexia. (Didn’t know this was possible until recently). One of them is to play an audiobook and read along. Hence, the request for audio and regular books.
Some favorites I have read – Fried Green Tomatoes, The Dome, Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, all of John Grisham’s books, most of James Patterson’s works.
I tend to enjoy books that are set in the South (USA), historical fiction, bios, or casino/gambling related. But that’s not a requirement, I’m not really too picky. Sci-Fi and fantasy aren’t my favs.
Thanks!
