I just finished reading the ritual by Adam nevill and it has got to be one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. I now am desperately looking for a new book to read but the problem is I’m kinda picky as some books grab my attention and I can’t seem to put it down, like the ritual. But most books I actually have a rather hard time staying focused. Was hoping somebody had a good suggestion for a suspenseful and scary book, specifically one that takes place in the deep backwoods or some kind of wilderness. And I can’t do ghost stories it has to be something cryptid-esque. I know I’m asking alot but I have faith yall will deliver, thanks!
(Non horror yet suspenseful books set in the wilderness would also potentially work)
