Hi there! New to this subreddit. Anyways, I’ve been looking for historical fiction books that take place in almost undocumented times. For example, one can consider fiction that takes place during the Indo-European pastoralist times, such as when the Rig Veda was still an oral tradition, or during times when the Caananite or Hurrian religions were still a thing. Bonus points if the books are literary and concern themselves with lost religions and forgotten gods. One example would be Mike Waltari’s The Egyptian.

    And thanks for the help!!
