Not just in the haunted house sense, but I love how the shows are structured. They’re so complex in how information is revealed! by CatsMeetWorld Related: Books like “The Three-Body Problem” Suggest a fantasy/sci fi with a mysterious world building backstory Novels w/ adult audience but children as protagonist? Any books similar to the US invasion levels of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2009) or the video game World in Conflict (2007) Favorite mystery/thriller that aren’t scary?

nataratat on October 17, 2023 12:40 am The Haunting of Hill House is an original novel by Shirley Jackson and Bly Manor is based somewhat on the Turn of the Screw, a novella by Henry James. I haven’t read either but I’ve good very very good things about Jackson, and Hill House. Could be worth a look! Agatha Christie is always a great bet for straight forward but magnetic whodunnits! Good luck!!
