There’s a collection called “Colonial Horrors” that has novels and short stories from various authors. It’s a good audiobook.
Also there’s a new release “Killing the Witches” that goes into rather a lot about how “witches” were dealt with in England and New England. There’s actually a lot of parallels then to now in regards to how many in society deal with what they don’t agree with or understand. Except they tortured in the public square where today they destroy lives on social media and in the news reporting.

The New England Grimpendium by J. W. Ocker. More dark tourism-oriented (murder sites, asylums, etc) but still has some legends and ghost stories.
