If you like a sort of Kurt Vonnegut vibe:The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove by Christopher Moore. Molly Michon (aka Kendra, Warrior Queen of the Outland) is such a badass and also hilarious
If you like an offbeat sort of Romance: Agnes and the Hitman by Jennifer Crusie. Agnes is cranky and mean and likes hitting people with frying pans.
If you want a deep fantasy epic: The Ruins of Ambrai by Melanie Rawn. Three female MCs, all kick ass and vaguely terrifying in their own way (fair warning, she only wrote two of the intended trilogy, but they are some of the best and most intricate novels I’ve ever read)
