I’m taking a fiction writing course this semester and I’ve come to find a lot more people are into sci-fi than I thought. I haven’t read much so I decided I want to try to read some more!
for reference:
•I love strong world and character building (so usually longer books)
•I’m not really into body horror that you might see in “Bloodchild” by Octavia Butler or like in some of Caitlin Marceau’s short stories (though I did enjoy both and see their value)
•if it were lgbtq+ i wouldn’t complain <3
•no opinions on if there’s romance or not, mostly just wanting to explore
