I (16 F) have been in love with reading since I first read something on my own, scientific books always caught my eye, I read all Agatha Christie’s books in fifth grade along with most of the Sherlock Holmes series and Lupin, and some other like Jane Eyre.
I read all of those in my first language and never tried reading them in English since I hated it back then .
Now that I’ve become better at English I want to read them again in it but I found it very boring and takes time more than reading something in my first language. But I still want to read them in English so I figured it must be easier if I read some other books first then tried those .
I’m currently Reading Percy Jackson but it’s too easy compared to what I tried before, like mabye every 8 pages or so I find one word that I don’t know, while in others it’s every two paragraphs.
I want recommendations of some books or Novels that are interesting and not so hard for beginners in reading in English.
