I went through high school reading all the typical YA series and absolutely loved them (Mortal Instruments, Hunger Games, Grisha Trilogy, etc), looking for more ~grown up~ series. Love magic and romance and adventure! Not a huge fan of Sarah J Maas unfortunately :/

The Bound & the Broken series by Ryan Cahill
And one from when I was younger but have read countless times over the years is the Harper Hall trilogy by Anne McCaffrey.
