I am struggling a bit to understand how to tackle this book. Because so far it seems like Asle is daydreaming and developing commentaries on a bunch of different aspects, this is it? I mean, i have no problem if the book its about that, however I have this feeling that I am missing the main plot and i am just grabbing his reflections.

For example, at some point he said about the repetitions towards praying, even though he himself (At least it seems) is not a religious person, he tries to be by repetition.

I am enjoying so far, nothing extraordinary, but I am worried i am missing something or if i should enjoy his daydreaming and comments.
