I just started rewatching The Fosters a couple days ago and got the urge to read a romance book about the FMC being in the Foster care system. I don’t particularly care about how the MMC finds out or if he already knows. It’s more for the foster care plot than the romance, but I do want it to be a romance. I’d like for a good portion of the book to be about her currently in the system so that it shows us her life. Instead of it starting out as her already having a good foster family. I do want her to have a good found family eventually though! I don’t really care what Genre it is, anything works.
Overall, I’m just looking for something with a lot of angst and drama and bad childhood experiences. I feel like a good cry, but I also want it to have as much of a found family trope as possible, with some great friends, and maybe even some good foster/adoptive parents. And a HEA.
I haven’t been able to find anything, so i’m not sure if there’s something close enough to what I’m looking for out there, but if anyone can give me something close enough, that would be great!
