Hi! Can anyone suggest a book set in the deepest parts of the ocean, the midnight zone? Would love a futuristic sci fi book—like a space thriller but underwater!—but open to any genre.
Nonfiction book recommendations about science/creatures/exploration also appreciated 🙂
Thanks!

Our Wives Under the Sea by Julia Armfield features all the different zones of the ocean – more of a surreal genre bender. Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant is a scientific research horror featuring killer mermaids.
‘Starfish’, by Peter Watts. You won’t regret it…
I loved the book Sphere by Michael Crichton when I was younger.
I should re read that.
