Looking for good books where you can try to solve the mystery/crime as you go, or at least put things together in some way. I don’t mean a “game” book where the intent is for you to solve the mystery. I’d prefer a book with a great story that just happens to have a mystery/crime based in logic where you could possibly figure it out on your own. I started wanting this after reading the Invisible library series because the mystery books were the most fun to read imo. Also, preferably recommend books where the main character isn’t an actual detective.
