I’m a huge fan of Ethel Cain and the Preacher’s Daughter album and lore, as well as Southern gothic, Midwestern gothic, and dark religious (trauma) themes as a whole. Anyone have any ideas for a book that matches such aesthetics/vibes? Bonus points for the inclusion of (spicy) romance elements.
