I used to read a lot of book, but due to some reasons I was not able to read any in the past 2 years. I want to get back to reading. I picked up two books in the past 2 months but I was not able to read past 50 pages. I read the beginning of the book for 40-50 pages and keep it aside. Can anyone please suggest me how can I get back to reading and please suggest some books which are easy to read fiction.

The trick, I think, is finding something that you’d be thoroughly interested in. It’s tricky to do when starting out because the book will have to hold your attention throughout so without brute willpower it may be a lot of trial and error unfortunately.
I can’t really recommend any easy fiction myself, apart from maybe the Harry Potters. Reflect on yourself though and figure out what genres & topics interest you. Gravitate towards those instead, something is bound to stick. It’s absolutely worth the effort to develop the habit again.
