This is not a request for book recommendations. I just finished a book that I enjoyed, and I usually have to do a brain floss between books before deciding what to read next.
I own enough unread books that I will not be able to read them all in my lifetime, but I still have this urge to shop for a new book when I finish a book, rather than dig through my TBR stack. I also have this tendency to want to reread a favorite books rather than choosing a book that looks tempting but which may not give me as much pleasure (and which doesn’t touch the TBR pile at all).
What thoughts do you have when choosing what to read next?
