I just feel like I’m not learning anything anymore and wasting my time. So I’m looking to learn something new and interesting.
I want something that reads like fiction- nothing boring and dry please
Nothing depressing- I feel like the vast majority of non fiction books are depressing
Open to various subjects. Weird things. Things I didn’t know that even existed.
Thank You

The Looming Tower – I guess this one could be considered depressing. It didn’t make me depressed though, just angry.
In the Heart of the Sea

Most of Bill Bryson’s books
Count Down to Zero Day
Bad Blood
American Kingpin
Border Hacker
Try any of Mary Roach’s books. And I second the Bill Bryson recommendation. Both are very entertaining writers.
“Cuckoos Egg” (by Clifford Stoll) I found to be a fascinating book:

{{The Class of 83: The Punishers of Mumbai Police by S.Hussain Zaidi}}
It is an interesting account of encounter specialists of the batch of 1983, especially two of them who dealt with the gangsters in 1980s Mumbai.
