    Hello there!

My grandmother is spending a couple of days in the hospital due to some heart medication complications. She’s read all of her library books that she packed with her and has tasked me with grabbing her some more. But I have no idea what to grab her. She loves clean Christian fiction that may have a dash of romance. Amish romance, ‘the good ole days’, kind of stuff.

I am a high-fantasy, dirty romance kind of granddaughter.

    Any recommendations?

    1. Gosh! That’s a difficult one, I don’t know anything about modern Christian novels, but my nan had a whole bookshelf full of the British writer Elizabeth Goudge novels, which I read my way through and though didn’t understand a lot of what they were about, still enjoyed. Her novels, apart from a few children’s fantasy stories, are generally Christian-flavoured stories, often with a historical background and a dash of wholesome romance.

I remember Towers in The Mist [historical] and Green Dolphin Street, also The Middle Window which is a time-loop story about a ‘modern’ woman [1960s I think!] encountering a time-loop ghost from the Jacobite Rebellion.

You can still get some of these on Amazon; or used on Abe Books at a reasonable price.
