So, I had my own experiences of getting the brunt of verbal abuse especially from my dad. I don’t speak up much about it but I shake and have this urge to cry whenever I explain or speak out my side so I mostly just get quiet. I hate feeling this. I don’t have any means for therapy right now so can anyone recommend self-help books?
