Me and some family have a bad book club where we each month we each read a funny/garbage book of each genre and discuss how bad it was. Next month were doing monster horror. What is a horror book with monsters that’s hilariously bad? Bonus points if it’s a very popular book.

Anne Rice’s ‘Interview with the Vampire’ is a book I suggest for its richly detailed world and the philosophical musings of its immortal characters. The novel redefined vampire lore and presents a horror story that is as much about the loneliness of immortality as it is about the thirst for blood.
