I’m roughly 100 pages through Catherine House by Elisabeth Thomas and I’m struggling to decide how I feel about it. There’s an eerie atmosphere and the prose is nice, but that’s kind of it? I don’t feel like there’s been enough actionable plot happening to keep up the suspense. I also find myself completely uninterested in all of the characters (Ines and Baby specifically are really flat). So, is there a point in which more starts happening and is it worth finishing?
