Hi all! I read some of my all-time favorites in the past year. The following really made an impression on me, and I can’t help but compare everything else I read to them: Demon Copperhead; Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow; Lessons in Chemistry; and Cloud Cuckocko Land. Does anyone else have a suggestion that they think I may like based on these? I generally love social commentary and historical fiction, but lately I’ve been feeling like the recommendations on Goodreads, etc. have just been different people telling the same story over and over, with not-so-great writing. I haven’t finished a novel in a few months and would love to get out of my funk! Suggestions would be appreciated!
