I’m doubtful of ever finding this book and i don’t really have too many details about it just the little bit that i remember hopefully it makes sense to somebody. Anyways in the book a woman comes home from work or some outing and she either gets a strange call/email from someone or finds a note detailing if she doesn’t go to a certain place that details from her past are going to come out/ or the possibility that somebody is just stalking her and sent her a weird message .( I also want to mention that i think she had a kid and when she got home the kid was gone but i might be getting that mixed up with another book so take that with a grain of salt) After she reads it she gets in her car and starts driving to wherever i can’t remember but i do remember that she stops at some point because she thinks she’s being followed and starts running/ getting lost in the forest and in the forest she comes across a dead body. Again i’m very doubtful that this book could be found but definitely doesn’t hurt to try lol. Sorry i wish i could give more/better details i feel like that’d help my case a lot but i’m 23 now and i’m pretty sure i read the book sometime around 8th grade.
