new reader looking for books :3

hi! 24f, i used to be a big reader when i was younger. i loved the hunger games, divergent series, great gatsby, john green books, and books of that nature.

i just got a kindle and want to get into reading again so i’m looking for suggestions! i don’t know exactly what i’m looking for but i do love something emotional and raw. i am obsessed with the walking dead, and i love shows like shameless, jane the virgin, and breaking bad because they pull on my heartstrings. i do like romance but not as the main genre, but a little love story on the side would be nice!

books that are on kindle unlimited would be preferred but not required!
