Looking to add some “younger” chapter books for quick read sessions. I know there are a lot of middle grade books that really pack an emotional punch or take you to great adventures. Aside from the usuals (HP series, the little prince, bridge to terabithia, etc.), what are some books from your childhood that you still think about/reread as an adult?
My personal ones are:
The Devil’s Arithmetic by Jane Yolen
The Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart (read this in college but I still loved it then)
Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech
